Wesley Degree College, Secunderabad, is a Christian Minority Institution managed by the Medak Diocese of the Church of South India. With a legacy that dates back to 1879, Wesley has grown from a mission school into one of the most respected UG colleges in Hyderabad, offering top-rated degree courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce.

Our Journey Through Time
Our roots trace back to the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society, London, which began its educational work in Secunderabad to address the lack of quality education in the region, especially for girls. Starting as a humble primary school in Ghasmandi, the institution rapidly grew into a high school by 1910 and later into a well-reputed junior college.
In 1984, the institution was upgraded to Wesley Degree College, with the approval of the State Government to launch degree programs in Arts and Commerce, followed by Science in 1986.
In 2005, the college was renamed as Wesley Degree College (Co-Education), expanding educational access to both boys and girls.
