Founded in 1984,with a successful track record of rendering yeomen service in the field of Education, as a Christian Minority Institution Wesley Degree College is established and managed by Church of South India, Medak Diocese.
Wesley Degree College had successfully completed 34 year of service providing quality education and it is one of he best colleges in the twin cities of Hyderabad.

With spacious class rooms, well equipped laboratories, friendly teacher-student relationship, sprawling play grounds, using state of art technology, six station gym. eco-friendly plantations and lawns provide enough inspiration. With the total personality development, A student after completion of the course steps out into the future with confidence and efficiency.
The College has been Re-Accredited in 2015 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore, and has adopted several new initiatives for over all development and progress.

Laboratories
The College provides aptly designed and well equipped Laboratories in the departments of Physics, Electronics, Commerce, Computer Science, English and Communication. The extensively planned computer labs are a remarkable testimony to the thrust that the colleges lays on Information Technology.

Library
It is important to choose where one studies, but it is equally important to promote what one must study.
Our extensive Library is fully furnished with sufficient volumes of books and magazines the contemporary is equipped with Department Library with Reference Books .
The Library consists of the reference section and the periodical sections. We have also installed a photocopying machine to facilitate material to our students.
The Library is fully automated.
Internet Facility
All the departments are connected through LAN with Internet facility to allow students to research on the Net.

Rules of Conduct
1. No student should involve in ragging as it is punishable as per Govt. Order.
2.No students should indulge himself in shouting, abusing and using foul language and involve in fighting with one another.
3.Any student damaging the college property shall be requited to pay the cost of replacement/ repair.
4. Taking part in communal politics and activities of student organization is prohibited.
5.Usage of Cell phones in the college premises totally prohibited as per Govt. Order.
6. Every student should personally meet the Principal if he/she has any individual problem and should not be represented by any other student or group of students or outsiders.
7. Principal has the power to inflict punishment including fine, suspension, expulsion or even rustication in the best interest of the college.
Payment of Fees
Fees should be paid as per schedule through challans at Allahabad Bank Branch, Wesley Boys Junior College, Paradise and submit the challan in the office for verification.
Working Hours and Holidays
1.College working hours are from 9.00AM to 3.00PM.
2.The College will remain closed on every second Saturday of the month and on all holidays as per the OU almanac.
Semester
Each semester will consist of 15-16 weeks of academic work equivalent to 90 actual teaching days. The odd semester may be scheduled from June to November and even semester from December to May.
Choice Based Credit system
The CBCS provides choice for students to select from the prescribed courses (core, elective or minor or soft skill course).
Award of Grades SGPA, CGPA
Credit mans the unit by which the course work is measured . In these regulations one credit means one hour of teaching work or two hours of practical work per week.

Grade Letter
is an index to indicate the performance of a student in a particular course (Paper). It is the transformation of actual marks secured by a student in a course/paper. It is indicated by a Grade Letter O,A,B,C,D,E,F. There is a range of marks for each Grade Letter.
Grade Point
is weightage allotted to each grade letter depending on the marks awarded in a course/paper.

Semester Grade Point Average(SGPA)
Credit Points for the paper = No. of Credits assigned for the paper x Grade Point secured for that Course/Paper.
SGPA indicates the performance of a student in a given semester. SGPA is based on the total credit points earned by the student in all the courses and the total number of credits assigned to the courses / papers in a semester.
Note : SGPA is computed only if the candidate passes in all the papers ( gets a minimum 'E' grade in all the papers).
Rules for-withdrawals
1.A student who discontinues his/her studies in the middle of the course should pay the fee for the complete course whatever may be the reason for leaving/discontinuation.
2.Transfer certificate will be issued only if the student clears all the dues.
3.Duplicate T.C. will be issued on production of a certificate from the police authorities, affidavit and fee of Rs. 500/ Triplicate will not be issued.
4.A student on the rolls will be given a Bonafide Certificate ever year and an Identity Card at the time of Admission. Students should get their identity cards renewed at the beginning of eh academic years.
Antiragging Committee
In accordance with the rule laid down by the Dept. of Police (SHE TEAMS) antiragging committee headed by the principal and other staff members is effectively monitoring so that the campus in free from ragging.
Railway Concession
Students can avail Railway Concession for travel to the place where their parents are working/staying.
